In 2003 Prof Richard Wiseman teamed up with contortionist Delia Du Sol to present 'Revealing Delia: The Absurd Science of Contortion' at The Dana Center (London). This show explored the remarkable anatomy of Delia Du Sol, one of the UK’s top contortionists, as she performed live, demonstrating seemingly impossible body bends and squeezing into a tiny perspex cube. This project also involved carrying out the world's first MRI scan of a contortionist in an extreme back bend.
