Psychology of Magic

In July 2005, Prof Wiseman hosted an event on the psychology of magic at the Dana Centre (London) as part of the Magic Circle Centenary Celebrations. This event involved Dr Gustav Kuhn (University of Durham) demonstrating how eye-tracking equipment can be used to explore the psychology of attention, and performances by critically acclaimed Las Vegas magician Jeff McBride (pictured right).

McBride's remarkable ability to manipulate playing cards can be seen in the video below.
