This experiment is being conducted by Glenn Hitchman,
a Masters student at the University of Hertfordshire, and examines the possible existence of psychic ability.

The study will last 8 weeks. Each Monday at 10:00 a.m., three Cluedo cards (one person, one weapon and one room) will be randomly chosen from a deck and placed face down upon a table in a remote location.

Three dice (one blue, one red and one yellow) will also be rolled and concealed under a shaker on the same table. If you participate in the study, you will be shown a photograph of the table, and asked to guess which cards and numbers have been chosen. It is fine for you to participate in as few or many trials as you like.

Each week Glenn will look at the cards and numbers that have been chosen by the majority of participants, and compare these guesses with the actual targets. As such, the experiment does not test whether individuals possess psychic ability, but rather whether a large group of individuals are able to guess above chance.
Participating will take just a few moments and involve answering a few simple questions about yourself, your beliefs and your guesses about each target.

If you supply your email address, Glenn will send you a summary of the findings at the end of the experiment. Any information you supply will only be used for the purposes outlined here, and you may withdraw your participation at any time.

This is week 8 of the study. To participate please click here.

If you have any questions about the study, please email Glenn at g.a.m.hitchman@herts.ac.uk.

Many thanks.
